Meet Vanessa
(aka Coach Nane)
I'm Vanessa Marquez-Kramme—a first-gen Latina marketer, storyteller, and MS in Integrated Marketing student at NYU with 10+ years of experience building brands that feel human.
Currently, I lead social strategy at NYU Steinhardt, where I grew LinkedIn engagement by 316% in one year through insight-driven content and culturally grounded storytelling.
I've worked across higher ed, wellness, and mission-driven brands—translating complex ideas into content that resonates, campaigns that convert, and strategies that honor both data and humanity.
I also run a coaching practice and podcast (The Free Genies Project), which deepens my understanding of what makes people connect, trust, and take action—insights I bring to every marketing project.
My superpower? Translating between worlds. As a bilingual, first-gen creative, I bridge cultures, speak to diverse audiences, and create marketing that doesn't just speak AT people—it speaks WITH them.
